We are currently looking for outstanding teaching assistants to work in a Special School, the school are extremely dedicated to ensuring that all students, despite their individual and unique needs, are valued and catered for every day. They are looking for someone to join their successful team and share in their vision and ethos.

You must have some previous experience working with children or young people who have SEND and be confident in managing challenging behaviours. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and nurturing with a positive demeanour. The most important thing is the ability to establish and maintain effective and trusting relationships.

You will be working under the supervision of the class teacher, helping students on a 1:1 and small group basis.

This is a full time role, starting as soon as possible and will be on-going with the view of them becoming a permanent role.
