At Celsian Education we are currently seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in a SEN School in Leeds, on a flexible basis after half-term.
About the role:
· Working with students with a range of moderate to complex additional needs including ASD, MLD, SLD and speech and communication difficulties.· To assist in the development of each individual and the preparation for adulthood.· Supporting small class sizes of students of varying ages, from 4 to 19, alongside a class teacher.· Supporting the school on a flexible basis, including full time and part time.

· The school caters for primary and secondary aged students with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities.· A well-established school with a wide range of facilities and resources.· A strong team ethos offering inclusive and accessible learning opportunities for all pupils, taking into consideration their varying needs.
· Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly built rapport with students.· Suitable qualifications to support students with SEND are desirable.· Have previous experience working with children of various ages.· Have experience working with students with Special Needs such as autism. · Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
