Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Worcestershire

Celsian are proud to say that we are working with a lovely special school located near the Worcestershire area who cater to both primary and secondary age groups with a range of learning difficulties.

We are on the search for a special needs teaching assistant with experience working with Autism and lower key stage secondary pupils. You would need to be able to start as soon as possible and you will be contracted until the end of the academic year.

You will work from 8:30am to 3:30pm every day and have a weekly staff meeting on a Tuesday that lasts until 4:00pm. This is a long-term and full-time role.

You will be providing 1:1 support to pupils with Autism from the ages 11-14 years old. Experience working with this age group is preferred but if you have worked with higher key stage primary we will also consider you.

You must have:

  • Experience working with secondary aged pupils
  • Experience working with Autism
  • Have a valid Child workforce DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one!
