121 ASD Teaching Assistant l Oldham l Year 1 I ASAP

Celsian Education are working alongside a Primary school in Oldham who are looking to recruit a level 3 teaching assistant who has experience working on a 121 basis with Early Years / Key Stage 1 children who are on the autistic spectrum. This is a necessity because you will be working full time 121 with a child in year 1.
The role is to start as soon as possible, will be full time. The duration is unknown but is initially until at least the Christmas break.
This position is specifically for a candidate that is level 3 qualified and has experience working with pupils on the autistic spectrum and who may display behaviour difficulties. There may also be the need to assist with toileting.
All candidates will be asked to provide at least 2 references to cover the last 2 years, at least 1 of which must be from a school or alternative educational provision. You will also be asked to hold an enhanced DBS that is on the update service or be willing to obtain a new one.
To be successful in the role -
- Experience working with Autistic pupils
- Have a recognised level 3 qualification to work with children
- Worked with Early Years / KS1 children
