Celsian Education are currently working in partnership with a secondary school based in South Birmingham who are seeking to appoint a qualified Science teacher.

Science Teacher

Starting May 2021

Part time, 4 days per week, term time only

South Birmingham

£125 - £190 per day (dependant on experience)

You will be working within an outstanding secondary school who are extremely proud of their results and achievements. You will be joining a friendly staff team with highly ambitious students who are impeccably behaved.

You will need to be resourceful and innovative in your teaching approach and be able to teach all three Sciences at KS3 - 4. This is a part-time position, 4 days per week to starting May 2021 on a temporary basis. You will be required to plan, deliver, assess, and mark work. You will have the opportunity to contribute to an exciting curriculum, which will help motivate students to achieve beyond their potential.

To be successful for this role, you will have excellent subject knowledge of all three Sciences at KS3 and 4 and hold qualified teacher status (QTS / QTLS). You will ideally hold or be willing to undertake an enhanced DBS check on the update service, availability to start May 2021 as well as being able to provide a minimum of 2 x references to cover the last 2 years of your employment and / or academic history.
