ASD Teaching Assistant l Oldham l Year 6 I January

Celsian Education are working with a Primary school in Oldham who are looking for a level 3 teaching assistant who has recent experience working 121 with a child or children in key stage 2 that are on the autistic spectrum.
This role will be full-time, and you will be working on a 121 basis with a year 6 child.
The role is to start after the Christmas break and will continue until Easter and possibly the end of the academic year.
This position is specifically for a candidate that has recent experience supporting pupils with autism who display behaviour difficulties.
All candidates will be required to provide at least 2 references to cover the last 2 years, at least 1 of which must be from a recent school or educational establishment and you will also need to have an enhanced DBS that is on the update service or be willing to obtain a new one.
To be successful in the role -
- Experience working with Autistic pupils
- Hold a valid and recognised teaching assistant qualification
- Recently worked with KS2 children
- Recent experience working as one-two-one teaching assistant
