SEN Teacher - Trafford
Celsian Education are recruiting for a SEN teacher to start in January. This is a long term position that could lead to a permanent appointment.
The school is based in Trafford, and caters for learners aged 11-19 with complex learning needs and difficulties including Autism.
All pupils are assessed according to their individual Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), enabling staff to plan work that is personalised and targeted to best meet pupils needs. All plans are reviewed regularly and updated to monitor progress.
The school has a strong culture of care and nurture combined with aspiration for their pupils. This is an opportunity to make a positive difference.
The successful candidate will be:- A qualified teacher with QTS or QTLS- Experienced as a SEN teacher- An excellent communicator - Committed to maximising pupil progress through setting high standards and by promoting effective teaching and learning.- A teacher with vision, creativity, drive and enthusiasm to develop the best curriculum for our pupils- Committed to the inclusion of children with special educational needs and disabilities.- A reflective practitioner who drives their own professional development through their practice.- Able to differentiate for pupils with a range of learning needs whilst remaining inspirational
