HLTA I Oldham I January I EYFS - Year 6 I Full-Time

Are you a level 4 teaching assistant or hold a HLTA qualification? Are you available for work as soon as possible? Are you passionate about raising attainment in literacy and numeracy? Do you have recent experience working as a HLTA in a UK primary School? Have you worked across school from Early Years up to Year 6?

Celsian Education are working alongside a primary school in Oldham to appoint a full time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work across all year groups inthe school from January until July. This will be a full time role.

The ideal candidate will either hold HLTA status, or, have a level 4 teaching assistant qualification or could perhaps be a Newly Qualified Teacher. It is essential that you have recent experience of working in a UK school. You must be flexible, reliable and passionate as you will be expected to move across each class of the school.

The School have specifically asked for someone with strong communication skills and previous experience of covering PPA, sickness and courses.

To be considered for this role, you will be required to:-

Hold a relevant Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification (HLTA) or a Teaching qualification with QTS

Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident

Have recent experience of working in a similar role

Be confident to work across all year groups

Be able to provide two suitable references covering the last 2 years, at least 1 being from an educational establishment

Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
