Year 1 Teacher I Tameside I Part Time

Are you a qualified teacher? Do you have recent experience teaching in a year 1 class? Are you passionate about raising attainment?

Celsian Education are working with a primary school in Tameside to recruit for an experienced and passionate Year 1 teacher. This school is a 2 form entry school and recently received a good Ofsted.

The post has arisen as a member of staff is recovering from a major operation. The start date is early January but the duration is unknown but it will be at least February half term.

The school will wish to see short listed candidates and observe them delivering a lesson.

To be considered for the role you must:

  • Be a QTS teacher with recent experience of the KS1 curriculum.
  • Hold a current enhanced DBS that is on the update service (or be happy to apply for one through Celsian).
  • Be a warm and caring individual focused on raising attainment.
  • Have recent teaching experience within a U.K school ideally in Year 1
  • Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation.
