Children and adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities have more than one disability, the most significant of which is a profound learning disability.

All people who have profound and multiple learning disabilities will have great difficulty communicating and therefore need additional support.

We are looking for a nurturing, calm and enthusiastic teaching assistant who is passionate about supporting individuals with profound needs and disabilities.

If you feel that this is an area where you would like to help, developing young minds, promoting equality in society and bringing out the best in those most vulnerable, this position could be for you.

Celsian Education are the leading provider of SEN staff in Leeds, we are able provide staff to specialist settings, where they might find a career. Our CPD suit currently includes vast amounts of training tailored to working in specialist and inclusive learning environments, including but not limited to Team Teach, Autism Awareness, MAKATON, PECS, Positive Behaviour Management and Intensive Interaction.

This is a full-time role and we are looking for someone who can commit to this longer term. If you are looking for something more flexible, we can also offer adhoc work in SEND settings.
