SEND Teaching Assistant - SEMH

Celsian Education are currently recruiting for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a great school in Birmingham. This role is to start after February half term until the end of the 2021 academic year.

You will be working within an 'outstanding' SEND school situated in the heart of Birmingham. They are looking for a confident, flexible and caring SEND Teaching Assistant to work within their year 4 & 5 class with SEMH and EBD experience. The successful candidate must have excellent behaviour management, a good knowledge of the National Curriculum and have prior experience of supporting children with Challenging Behaviour. You will be working across key stage 2, supporting two children with ADHD, Autism and MLD.

The staff within the school are extremely supportive and you will be given clear leadership. This school is based in South Birmingham and has excellent train links and is easily accessible by other public transport with a bus stop outside the school, in addition to a secure on-site car park.
