Celsian Education are currently looking for two teaching assistants to join a primary school within Sandwell to work within their resource base with SEN pupils. This role is to begin after the Easter holidays. This is a full time position from Monday-Friday (8:30am-3:30pm).

The resource base has pupils with Autism (ASC), Cognition and Learning (C&L) and Physical Disabilities. You will be responsible for the support and care of specific pupils within this resource bases.

All applicants must have an NVQ Level 3 qualification and have a minimum of 3 months experience working with children who have special educational needs and disabilities. You will need to be confident within a classroom environment and to be able to take direction from a class teacher. This role will include assisting the teacher with classroom preparation, 1:1 work with pupils who require additional support and helping the class teacher with pupil observations and other general teaching assistant duties.
