Teaching Assistant - Stockport
Celsian Education are currently working with a primary school in Stockport who has recently been rated as good with some outstanding features by OFSTED. They are looking to appoint an experienced teaching assistant to deliver booster sessions to their Year 6 students.
This is a full-time role, to start after Easter and will be covering a permanent member of staff who is due to have a medical procedure.
The School have specifically asked for someone who has recent Key Stage 2 experience, good communication skills and behaviour management and a relevant qualification.
To be considered for this role you will need to:-· Hold a valid & recognised childcare qualification · Have recent experience working with KS2 children · Be genuinely committed to enhancing the educational and personal development of the groups of children and the rest of the class.· Implement agreed work programmes with individuals/groups· Act as a role model and set high expectations · Compliment the work of teachers and take responsibility for agreed learning activities.
