Celsian Education are working with a large Primary school in Rochdale who are looking to recruit for an experienced teaching assistant to join their team, to support a pupil in Year 3 who has communication difficulties. It is essential that you have experience supporting children with communication difficulties.

The role is to start at Easter and will be full time. It will involve working with a pupil in Year 3 on a 121 basis. The school are looking for someone who can commit to 5 days per week.

All short listed candidates will need to complete necessary background checks which include having an enhanced DBS check on the update service or be willing to obtain a new one. Also sufficient references to cover the last 2 years, at least 1 of which must be from a recent school or educational establishment.

To be short listed for this role you will need to have-

• Recent experience working with children with communication difficulties
• Recently worked with children in a UK school
• Recently worked as 121 learning support assistant with social and emotional difficulties
