This is a temp role initially but could become permanent for a standout candidate. The school is in an exciting phase of its development, and has undergone transformation over the last few years. There is quite a new Head in place, so this trajectory of high expectation and high standards is expected to continue. Your role will be to help students to overcome barriers to learning - this will involve working with students in a one to one scenario, but also sometimes in smaller groups. You will be working with challenging students. An important part of your job will be to collaborate with other teaching professionals in school, so its important that you are able to work well with other people. We are looking for someone who is keen to make a difference to students and the community. You will need to have some experience working with students who display challenging behaviour and will ideally feel confident in being able to deal with these types of behaviours.
