The school are looking for someone preferably with experience of working as a Cover Supervisor, who would describe themselves as proactive, compassionate, and honest. You will be expected to provide a stimulating and caring environment for students, whilst ensuring that the are able to complete the pre-assigned work set by their absent class teacher. The position could involve covering a range of subjects, but a good proportion of the cover would involve covering PE lessons - so you must be comfortable with this. Its important that you are a vigilant and that you have a good knowledge of safeguarding procedures - this knowledge will be tested in your interview with us. This is a great school to work in, and a great environment for the children to learn in - students count themselves lucky that they attend this school. The kids are very polite and mature, and instances of bad behaviour from students are considered rare.
