Celsian Education are looking to appoint a qualified Sociology and Humanities Teacher for a Sandwell based secondary school starting immediately.
You will be working within good Ofsted rated secondary school with over 1500 students on roll, who provide high quality teaching and learning in a supportive and positive environment. This is a great opportunity to work within a thriving and exciting school where students achieve well and to become part of a supportive team of determined leaders and governors to continue to raise standards in the teaching and achievements.
This is a full-time role, where you will be required to teach both Sociology at key stage 4 and 5 and Humanities including History, Religious Education (RE) and Geography at KS3. The role is to start immediately on a temporary interim basis for one term initially. You will be a passionate and driven person, tasked with delivering stimulating and innovative lessons for your students.
To be successful for this role you will have an excellent understanding of both Sociology and Humanities and hold qualified teacher status (QTS / QTLS). You will ideally have an up to date enhanced DBS check on the update service as well as being able to provide a minimum of 2 x references to cover the last 2 years of your employment history.
