Teaching Assistant I EAL I KS1 I Oldham I Easter
Are you a qualified & experienced teaching assistant with recent experience supporting primary school aged children?
Are you dedicate about raising the attainment levels of small groups of children in literacy & numeracy? Are you experienced supporting key stage 1 children?
Do you have experience working with Urdu or Punjabi speaking children?
Celsian Education are working with a two-form entry primary school in Oldham to recruit an experienced teaching assistant to work in key stage 1. It is advantageous if you have experience supporting children whose language spoken at home is not English. This would preferably be Urdu or Punjabi.
This role is to start after the Easter holidays and will continue until the end of the academic year. The successful candidate will need to be available to work 5 days per week.
All short listed candidates will need to have satisfactory background checks completed prior to starting the role, this includes having an enhanced DBS check that is on the update service ( or be willing to obtain one) as well as providing sufficient references covering the last 2 years, at least 1 of which needs to be from an educational establishment.
