We are recruiting for an Physics Teacher in Leeds for a September 2021 start. We are looking for a Teacher than can create Science lessons that engage and challenge, and that really bring the subject to life. Experience with teaching other Science specialisms at KS3 would be a beneficial as well. Ideally you will be a Physics Teacher with a demonstrable record of high attainment and results. NQTs however, that may not have vast experience, are strongly encouraged to apply.
You must have a willingness to support the wider needs of the school - for example, you must be willing to help support with extracurricular activities, and after school events. You will be expected to work in collaboration with your departmental colleagues and be looking to share your pedagogical knowledge, and how it can be applied within your specialism for the good of the students.
The positions would definitely suit NQTs who though might not be the finished article, have exceptional potential. The school is a desirable one to work in, and the facilities are modern and conducive to ensuring that exceptional teaching and learning are taking place.
