Celsian Education are working with a secondary school in Bury, to recruit for a Science Teacher to join them in September. It will be on a full-time role until Easter 2022. They are looking for someone who can create interesting lessons and you must be able to provide a challenging and stimulating environment for students to learn Science in, which leaves them feeling fully engaged and wanting more
This Science Teacher role will involve:
- planning and delivering interesting Physics and Chemistry lessons to classes across key stage 3 and key stage 4
- teaching students of all abilities.
- working with young people to help raise their attainment in the subject and achieve success in their GCSE exams.
To be successful you will have:
- to hold a valid and recognised teaching qualification
- Excellent subject knowledge specialising in Science in particular Physics or Chemistry
- Recent experience teaching Science across KS3 - KS4
- Good communication skills
You will be required to hold an enhanced DBS that is on the update service or be willing to obtain a new one. You will also be asked to provide sufficient references to cover a minimum of the last 2 years, at least 1 of which must be from your most recent school or educational establishment.
