At Celsian Education we are currently working with a Specialist School in Leeds who require additional teaching assistants to join their setting as soon as possible. At present we have both full and part time opportunities available.

About the school:
The school supports students aged 3 to 19 years old who have different learning needs, they cater for moderate and severe learning difficulties and as well students with complex and multiple needs, complex autism, PMLD and Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH). They have fantastic resources on site to ensure that all unique and individual needs are met as well as they can be and they pride themselves on inclusivity within the classroom.
The school is located in a very easily accessible area of Leeds, they have parking on site and also have good public transport links.
About the role:
We are looking for candidates who are adaptable and flexible in their approach to learning, due to the varying needs of the students you will need to be proactive and able to adapt learning and activities dependant on the students needs. Your main role is to ensure the students are engaged and feel that they have the tools to access learning.
You will be doing some 1:1 work with students who need more focused support as well supporting on a classroom basis under the supervision of the class teacher.
Pay will be between £350 and £375 for full time workers, working 5 days per week.
