Celsian Education are working with a Primary school in Rochdale who are looking to recruit a level 3 teaching assistant who has experience working on a 121 basis with Key Stage 2 children, who have been diagnosed with Autism. This is a necessity because you will be working full time on a 121 basis with a child in Year 5.

The role is to start as soon as possible and will be full time. The duration is unknown but is likely to continue until the end of the academic year.

This position is for a candidate that is at least level 3 qualified and has recent experience working with pupils on the autistic spectrum and who will display behaviour difficulties.

To be successful in the role -

  • Experience working with Autistic pupils
  • Have a recognised level 3 qualification to work with children and young people
  • Recently worked with key stage 2 children
  • worked as a teaching assistant on a 121 basis
