1:1 ASD Pupil Support

Full Time - Primary School Based

Salary up to £400 per week

Celsian Education have been working with this partner primary school in East Leeds for over ten years and have been approached to find an enthusiastic and nurturing Support Assistant to help with a Key Stage 1 pupil accessing the curriculum. Experience working with Autism and ADHD would be preferrable but there will be access to some on the job training as well as our CPD suite here at Celsian Education.

The school is a three-form entry 'Good' primary school in East/Central Leeds and their recent improvements have come about through strong leadership and high expectations of both pupils and staff. Behaviour has improved dramatically in a short space of time thanks to the new leadership team and the school benefits from having an excellent local reputation.

The SEND Team is an exceptional team environment and the breadth of the school intake includes a wide variety of pupil needs and abilities. You will be given support from both the school and Celsian Education and access to free or subsidised CPD from both parties too.

You will be initially employed through Celsian Education on a supply basis however for a successful candidate there is an opportunity to become a permanent member of staff.
