Celsian Education are currently recruiting for a Behaviour Support Worker with experience in working with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) issues and other challenging behaviours. We are looking for members of staff who would be interested in flexible day to day or long term assignments in Leicestershire County.

As a preferred supplier for many PRU's and Special Educational Needs settings throughout the counter, we have a wealth of experience in working with the most vulnerable students, and have a fantastic track record of successfully placing Learning Support Assistants and Behaviour Support Workers into their dream roles for over 8 years.

The students supported by our partnered schools range from ages 4 to 16. They may come from deprived areas or have suffered some neglect during their upbringing, so we require applicants to have a calm, nurturing, and understanding nature. You will ideally have some experience in working with challenging behaviour and should be able to demonstrate a real passion for education and young people.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Strong knowledge of Social Emotional and Mental Health issues
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to act as a role model and deliver high standards of support
  • A positive attitude is essential!

In exchange, Celsian Education can offer:

  • A dedicated consultant who understands your needs
  • A stimulating and supportive work environment
  • Excellent rates of pay
  • The opportunity for long term and permanent roles
