Booster Teacher - KS2 - January 2019 (until May) P/T = Leicester City
Celsian Education are currently seeking a part-time KS2 teacher or Qualified Tutors for intervention roles beginning in January 2019. This will be working at least 2 days per week to offer booster sessions to help promote learning with KS2 pupils, particularly with Maths, English and Science in the lead up to SATs. Although this position is open to NQTs and experienced teachers, it is essential that you have a proven track record of working within the KS2 national curriculum, and have strong behaviour management. The school are seeking a motivated teacher, with a willingness to strive to achieve the best possible results. To be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;* Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE, B.Ed or a BA Hons. (Those with HLTA qualification may also be considered depending on the school.)* Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.* Have at least 3 months school-based experience of working in a UK school setting.* Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
The role will entail:* Excellent knowledge of the Year 6 and KS2 curriculum* 1-2-1 or small group sessions* Weekly progress reports, monitoring and reviewing regularly to ensure desired outcomes are being met.
