Are you a passionate History Teacher that is dedicated to helping students understand the importance of history and its impact on the modern world?

Celsian Education is working with a large secondary school in Barnsley to recruit a confident History Teacher. You will work in a welcoming Humanities Department where you will plan and deliver engaging lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils and support pupils, who are starting the final push towards GCSEs.
This school has a passion for instilling belief in their pupils, enabling them to overachieve in exams as well as giving them excellent foundations for drive and belief throughout their lives. They welcome applications from like-minded teachers, including NQTs.
The ideal candidate should:- QTS - B.Ed., PGCE, Cert.Ed.- Proven behaviour management skills- The ability to quickly engage with pupils- A passion for education within your subject
Our Requirements:- Must hold a UK recognised teaching qualification, i.e. BSc QTS, BA QTS, CERT ED, PGCE, B.Ed- Are enthusiastic, professional, reliable and flexible- Have strong classroom management skills- Have a strong desire to help others- £250 Refer a Friend Scheme
