Celsian Education Leicester are currently working with a number of secondary schools in the Leicestershire area who are seeking highly effective and knowledgeable intervention teachers to provide additional support to their students during this important period in their young lives.

The ideal candidate must have a strong background in providing effective and measurable intervention sessions that successfully raise attainment within Maths. You will be a passionate educator who believes in a truly inclusive learning environment, and will ideally have extensive experience of working with low-attaining students and providing a noticeable turnaround in results and understanding.

Due to the nature of this role, applicants must have a strong subject knowledge and should also be able to easily interpret data in order to create effective action plans aimed at raising attainment within all Maths subjects at GCSE level. You must hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS), and have a wealth of experience in delivering Maths at both Key Stage 3 and 4 level.

In exchange, Celsian Education can offer:

  • excellent rates of pay
  • the opportunity to make a noticeable impact on your students
  • smaller class sizes - one to one and small group intervention is a vital aspect of the role
  • ongoing and long term roles within Leicestershire secondary schools

For more information, please apply via the advertisement and a member of our team will be in touch to discuss your application in further detail. Due to the nature of this role, we will not be accepting applications from those who do not hold a current and valid UK teaching qualification.
