Are you a Nursery Nurse who is seeking a flexible role in and around the Dudley area?
You will be working for a number of nurseries and schools as early years bank staff where you will be placed in various settings in which include private day nurseries, children centres and preschool. You will be working with children aged 3 months to 5 years, which can be tailored to your preferences. You will be able to work in your desired location in and around the Dudley area and work around your own commitments. We are currently inundated with work at the moment so you will be able to work as little or as much as you desire. As a nursery bank staff you will be expected to support the early years settings where you are working out where required; supporting the other nursery staff, helping set up and tidy the room, playing with the children and ensuring the environment is safe at all times. You won't be expected to complete any learning diaries so this is a great opportunity to gain confidence and learn new skills. We are looking for ideally level 2 or level 3 qualified early years' practitioners, however we are open to unqualified nursery assistants having recent relevant experience that can be referenced. You will need to be reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic; the nurseries that you are placed in will expect you to be hands-on and willing to help out in the setting. You will receive a competitive hourly salary including holiday pay. You will receive the support you require to settle into this nurseries routine through a mixture of on the job training and classroom based. You will have set hours for a fixed period of time, enabling you to plan your commitments or childcare where needed.
