A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Assistant specialising in Autism (ASD) for a fantastic school In Sandwell. The school Ethos is to provide a happy, nurturing teaching environment where pupils can reach their full potential. The school are looking for positive role models who have high expectations of themselves and the children.

The Role:

To provide outstanding 1:1 support to a child within a Primary School, to watch them grow and develop their learning skills

To follow individual education plans (IEP'S) and liaise with the SENCO as well as the child's parents

Helping the child to engage with the curriculum, developing both academic and emotional skills

To be considered for the role:

You will hold at least a level 3 childcare qualification

Have recent previous Autism (ASD) experience

Have a proven track record, and be able to provide at least two professional references

Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to complete a new one
