£55 - £80 a day - Temporary

Summary

Celsian Education are currently working with a number of special schools in Walsall and the surrounding areas and require Special Needs Support Assistants / SSAs / SEN TAs for day-to-day and long term positions starting as soon as possible.

About the role

Celsian is an award winning education recruitment company with many opportunities for SSAs / Special Needs Support Assistants / SEN TAs to work on a day-to-day basis or for those looking for long term or permanent positions. This role will enable you to work in a variety of your local SEN schools so you can expect short journey times and the opportunity to build rapport and strong working relationships. Celsian Education are working with a cluster of SEN schools in Walsall & Birminhgam who require staff for February, April and September 2018.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children special educational needs. We are specifically looking for Special Needs Support Assistants / SSAs / SEN TAs with a particular specialism such as ASD, Speech and Language, SLD, PMLD or SEMH. Due to the nature of the students a patient, caring and compassionate approach is needed. We are also looking for recent graduates and actors who are looking to build their experience working with SEN pupils.

Requirements

Recent experience and a genuine passion for working with SEN pupils is essential. All applicants will need to hold a current enhanced DBS and be fully compliant to work in the UK.

Salary and Benefits

Competitive daily rates (£55-£80 per day). A designated consultant to guide you through the entire employment process, from applying, to preparing for the interview and settling into your new role.
